Support
Please read through the following troubleshooting guidelines before contacting your dealer or Jones Audio for service:
1. Problem: There is no sound and there are no LEDs lit on the front panel.
The AC mains switch in the rear of the amplifier is off.
The power cord is unplugged.
The AC mains is down. (circuit breaker, power outage)
The amplifier AC mains fuse is blown. Contact your dealer.
2. Problem: There is no sound and the front panel switch LED flashes rapidly.
The amplifier is overheated.
The vents are obstructed or clogged with dust. Turn the amplifier off, clear the vents and allow several minutes for it to cool off.
The amplifier was driven very hard for an extended period with low impedance speakers. Turn the amplifier off and allow several minutes for it to cool off. We believe this amplifier has adequate heat sinking for any conceivable usage, so this is a highly unlikely scenario.
3. There is no sound and the front panel switch LED flashes slowly.
The DC speaker protection is activated. Check the preamplifier unit that is producing the amplifier input signal.
The startup muting circuitry has failed. Contact your dealer.
